The CAMBODIAN ASSOCIATION FOR ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEONS main purposes are:
- Consolidate and train more oral and maxillofacial surgeons with high standards. Members of the association shall have high dedication to public benefit, good ethics, and support of its members through further study and development of their specialties.
- Develop and continue to promote education programs in accordance with national and international legal instruments related to oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Organize further training and seek training opportunities for all members of the association related to oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Establish and strengthen friendship and cooperation with relevant associations and institutions in the health sector at the national, regional, and international levels.
- Organize membership in international associations related to oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Organize national, regional, and international workshops to exchange ideas and experiences with relevant institutions.
- Contribute to the Royal Government of Cambodia and other relevant ministries and institutions in the development of oral and maxillofacial surgery skills to promote the development of modern healthcare in Cambodia.
- Contribute to the development and strengthening of laws and regulations related to oral and maxillofacial surgery in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
